Hey, hope you're having a great week. And a very big hello to you new subscribers β€” really great to have you here.

This week's proving to be a bit busy, so I'm going to keep the preamble to an absolute minimum and just get straight into this issue's links...

Remarkable

Ableton Move

Ableton Move

Portable music maker

Billed as a 'portable tool for intuitive music making', Move is Ableton's latest bit of hardware.

It's a little groove box and step sequencer, and I'm keen to get my hands on one.

Cosmos

Cosmos

Discovery engine

Cosmos is a bookmarking and discovery app, sort of like Pinterest, but without the ads and twee craft projects.

What sets it apart for me is the care and craft it's clearly been built with, and the fact that the content and curation is so well honed. It offers some nice little visual rabbit holes to get lost in.

Daylight

Daylight

Computer

Daylight has been out a while, but I realised I hadn't shared it here and should have.

It's a computer built around the idea of deep focus and wellbeing, and is even designed to be used outside. Would love to see more tech companies trying to make hardware of this ilk.

Guy Billout

Artist

I first encountered Guy Billout’s work back in the early 2000s and was immediately drawn to his surrealist off kilter perspective.

Now 83, Billout was mainly active in the late 1960s-80s working for clients like The Atlantic, The New York Times and many others.

I've since discovered he also made a series of great looking kids books I need to investigate for my youngest.
